Wer gestern die Sendung 10 vor 10 im Schweizer Fernsehen gesehen hat, war vielleicht ebenso schockiert wie ich. Dass es im Chat nur so von Pädophilen wimmelt und es Fahndern möglich ist, präventiv zu arbeiten, war mir durch meine ehemalige Zusammenarbeit während eines Projektes mit der Polizei und des Kinderschutzes bekannt. Mit welcher Ausrüstung die Verdächtigen jedoch an solchen vermeintlichen Treffen mit Kindern erscheinen, hat mich aber tief erschüttert. Das Thema "Kinder im Chat" war bei mir ein bisschen in Vergessenheit geraten. Diese Sendung hat jedoch gezeigt, dass die Arbeit an medienpädagogischen Themen brisanter ist denn je und eine Aufklärung der Kinder im Umgang mit neuen Medien unerlässlich ist. Ebenso wichtig ist die Information und Ausbildung von Eltern, Lehrpersonen oder Fachpersonen, um auf solche Themen reagieren zu können.
